DESCRIPTION:The 1° Italian Grand Prix Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a major selection competition for Italy's national teams heading to the IBJJF European Championships. Held in both Gi and No-Gi formats\, it welcomes competitors from age 4 through Masters across all belt levels.\n\n**Competition structure:**\n- IBJJF rules without advantages\n- Weight category and Openweight divisions\n- Academy/Team Rankings based on participation and results\n\n**Registration (closes early if capacity reached):**\n- Early bird (by Jan 25): €28 weight category / €18 openweight (ages 4-15: €18 / €18\; Black Belts: €5 / €5)\n- Ordinary (by Feb 15): €38 weight category / €18 openweight (ages 4-15: €28 / €18\; Black Belts: €10 / €5)\n- Openweight only (by Feb 17): €18 (Black Belts: €5)\n- €10 discount for entering both tournaments (excluding Black Belts)\n- Free registration for Ukrainian refugees\n\n**Prizes & ranking points:**\nMinimum €2\,500 to maximum €20\,000 prize pool distributed to top 5 teams and Adult Openweight Black/Brown Belt winners. Black Belts earn up to 125 ranking points for first place\; other belts earn up to 25 points. Athletes ranked first in Adult Black Belt standings may receive €500 as an alternative to European Championships participation.\n\n**Special perks:**\nFree event t-shirt for the first 50 registrants (courtesy of KANO KIMONOS).
