DESCRIPTION:The Brussels Open 1 is an adult-only Gi and No-Gi tournament under IBJJF rules\, open to white through black belts on October 3\, 2026.\n\n**Registration:**\n- Normal (until April 20): €45 single format\, €70 both formats\n- Late (until May 6): €55 single format\, €90 both formats\n\n**Schedule:**\nWeigh-ins Friday 20:00–21:30 and Saturday 10:00–11:45. Competition starts around 12:45 p.m. (following the kids event).\n\n**Format highlights:**\nAn absolute division is available\, limited to top 3 from each category. Male absolutes span white\, blue\, purple\, and elite (brown & black). Female absolutes are elite only (blue\, purple\, brown\, black). Athletes competing alone in their category move up to the next weight class unless someone from below joins.\n\n**Prizes & points:**\nBest team awards of €300 in both Gi and No-Gi divisions. Ranking points are available\; visit www.fbjjb.be for details on qualifying for the World Championship flight ticket.\n\n**Important:** Zero tolerance on the scale.
