DESCRIPTION:Empire Grappling: Greater Manchester Open 2026 is a pre-registration-only event for Adults (18+) and Children\, with both Gi and No-Gi divisions. Absolute divisions use straight knockout format.\n\n**Registration & Capacity:**\nCapped at 250 competitors per period. Early Bird closes 27 December 2025\, Normal closes 24 January 2026\, Late closes 26 February 2026. All taxes and admin included. Discounts available: Brown and Black Belts receive 50% off\, as do Pro MMA fighters (3+ professional fights) — claim via email to info@empiregrapplingevents.com with proof.\n\n**Competition Details:**\n- Doors and weigh-in open 8:00am\; matches begin 9:00am\n- Weigh-in closes 60 minutes before each division\n- Zero allowance on weight\; missed or late weigh-in = disqualification\n- Minimum 2 matches guaranteed per athlete (Gi and No-Gi)\n- Division changes accepted until 1 March 2026\, 10:00pm via Smoothcomp only\n- ID checks being introduced (random initially\, mandatory by mid-2026)\n\n**Prizes:**\nMedals awarded to top finishers (all medallists must be present).
