DESCRIPTION:The Nijmegen Open BJJ 2026 is a Gi-only tournament following IBJJF standards with extensive divisions for young grapplers through masters. Eight competition mats accommodate kids (max 150) and adults/masters (max 250).\n\n**Competition structure:**\n- Kids and young adults compete in round-robin format guaranteeing two fights per competitor\n- Larger adult divisions use round-robin with elimination or double K.O. brackets\n- Absolutes available for blue belts and up (adults and masters only)\n- White belts split into beginners (0–6 months) and advanced (6+ months)\n- Masters divided into 30–40 and 40+ categories\n- Boys and girls compete together in youngest age groups\; separate divisions from 8–9 onwards\n\n**Registration:**\n- Adults: €40 early\, €50 standard\, €60 late\n- Kids: €30 early\, €35 late\n- Black belts compete free\n\nDoors open 8:00\, weigh-in 8:00–12:00\, competition starts 9:00. Spectator tickets €10 at the door.
