DESCRIPTION:Northern Open 10 in Sheffield is a large-scale Gi and No-Gi tournament offering both IBJJF and Submission Only rulesets—competitors choose which to compete under.\n\n**Divisions:** Kids (4-15)\, Juveniles (16-17)\, and Adults/Masters (16+)\, with all belt levels from white to black. Junior categories are split by belt colour. Adult Gi and No-Gi divisions run separately.\n\n**Competition format:** Single elimination\, round robin elimination\, and head-to-head best-of-three formats. Small brackets with 2–3 competitors guarantee a minimum of two matches.\n\n**Registration fees:**\n- Juniors/Juveniles: £30 early bird (until 20 Jan)\, £35 standard (until 20 Mar)\, £40 late (until 16 Apr)\n- Adults/Masters: £35 early bird (until 20 Jan)\, £40 standard (until 20 Mar)\, £45 late (until 16 Apr)\n- Second category (Gi or No-Gi): £20\n\n**Schedule:** Doors and weigh-in open at 8:00\, rules meeting 9:15–9:30\, competition starts 9:30.\n\n**Venue:** High-spec facility with 6m×6m and 8m×8m matted areas\, TV scoreboards on IBJJF mats\, capacity for 250 spectators in gallery seating overlooking all mats.
