DESCRIPTION:The Irish BJJ Open 2026 is a Single Elimination tournament under IBJJF rules\, welcoming all Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners across Kids\, Juveniles\, Adults\, Masters\, and Masters 4 divisions in both Gi and No-Gi formats.\n\n**Tournament structure:**\n- Medals awarded for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place in each division\n- Maximum two athletes per team in the same division bracket\n- Team members avoid facing each other until the final (except in three-athlete brackets)\n- Weight measurements in kilograms\; only one weight cut attempt permitted\n\n**Important policies:**\n- Qualified referees and professional staff\n- No black belt coaching area available\n- Coaching only allowed outside the barricaded competition zone\n- Video recording and social media live streaming of matches prohibited\n- Limited capacity\; registration closes when full or at the deadline\n\nWeigh-ins occur immediately before the first fight.
