DESCRIPTION:The XVII Spanish BJJ Championship 2026 is a major 4-Star IBJJF-sanctioned event featuring Gi\, No-Gi\, and Kids divisions across all age categories and belt levels.\n\n**Competition structure:**\n- Kids and Youth compete in Gi and No-Gi\n- Adults and Masters (1-7) compete in both formats\n- No-Gi is for competitors 10 years and older\n- Only 1st place finishers advance to Absolute divisions (Black belts exempt)\n- White belts do not compete in Absolute\n\n**Registration:**\nEarly Bird pricing starts at €50 (Gi) or €90 (Gi+NoGi)\; under-15s pay €35/€60. Standard and Late rates available at higher prices.\n\n**Prizes & recognition:**\nGold\, Silver\, and Double Bronze medals for all category finalists. Event t-shirts awarded to 150 first-place champions\; additional shirts available for purchase. Team trophies for top finishers in Gi (up to 5th)\, NoGi (up to 3rd)\, and Kids (up to 3rd).\n\n**Ranking points:**\nGold 200 points\, Silver 80\, Bronze 20\, plus 4 points per victory and submission.\n\n**Event details:**\nFebruary 16\, 2025 at Palacio Multiusos de Guadalajara. Maximum 1\,000 registered participants. Sports accident insurance (up to €1\,500) included. Weigh-ins occur moments before competition.
