ADCC Swedish Open 2025 is a grappling event in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The event is open for all countries.

NEW IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Kids and juniors (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 years) will compete with beginner rules. So even if you are intermediate you will compete with beginner rules. This is new direction from ADCC Europe.
Age classes: Kids (7-8), Kids (9-10), Juniors (11-12 years), Juniors (15-17 years), Adults (+18 years) and Masters (+35 years)
Classes: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Pro. Advanced and Pro only Adults (+18 years).
Definition of experience classes
Adults +18 years and Masters (+35 years)
Beginner = Less than 2 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc.
Intermediate = 2-4 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc.
Advanced = More than 5 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc.
Pro = More than 5 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc.
Tournament system
Kids 7-8 (beginner and intermediate) – Single elimination tournament.
Kids 9-10 (beginner and intermediate) – Single elimination tournament.
Juniors 11-12 years (beginner and intermediate) – Single elimination tournament.
Juniors 13-14 years (beginner and intermediate) – Single elimination tournament.
Juniors 15-17 years (beginner and intermediate) – Single elimination tournament.
Adult +18 years (beginner, intermediate, advanced and pro) – Single elimination tournament.
Masters +35 years (beginner, intermediate and advanced) – Single elimination tournament.
Pro Absolute
Women (no weight classes). All competitors that have won at least one fight in the Pro division can register to the absolute. Tournament organisation will choose the competitors. Max 8 competitors. Gold and silver medalists will be prioritized.
Men (no weight classes). All competitors that have won at least one fight in the Pro division can register to the absolute. Tournament organisation will choose the competitors. Max 16 competitors. Gold and silver medalists will be prioritized.
A single elimination tournament is a type of competition where a participant is eliminated after one loss.
Academy team mates will face each other early in the brackets. Before semi finals if possible.
Fighting Time
Beginner
5 minutes in ordinary fights (first 2,5 min without points)
6 minutes in the finals (first 3 min without points)
Intermediate
6 minutes in the ordinary fights (first 3 min without points)
8 minutes in the finals (first 4 min without points)
Advanced
6 minutes in ordinary fights (first 3 min without points)
8 minutes in the finales (first 4 min without points)
Pro
6 minutes in ordinary fights (first 3 min without points)
8 minutes in the finales (first 4 min without points)
Equipment
Competitors compete in rashguard or tight t-shirt, shorts and/or tights (without pockets and zippers). Male competitors can compete shirtless.
Optional gear: wrestling shoes, groin protection, mouth guard. Gear containing metal are prohibited.
Classes
If there is not enough grapplers in a class, classes will be merged. A class without enough grapplers will move up to the next weight class in the same experience category.

Men: -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -76 kg, -83 kg, -91 kg, -100 kg, +100 kg
Juniors
Girls Junior (11-12): -28 kg, -32 kg, -36 kg, -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, +50 kg
Girls Junior (13-14): -32 kg, -36 kg, -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, +55 kg
Girls Junior (15-17): -36 kg, -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, -60 kg, +60 kg
Boys Junior (11-14): -36 kg, -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, +65 kg

Coaches
Each academy can bring a maximum number of 3 coaches. Coaches MUST register in Smoothcomp for a coaches pass before 2025-11-25 23:59. Each coach will get a coaches badge at the weigh-in. It will NOT BE POSSIBLE to add or change the list of coaches at the event. You will not be allowed to coach matside without a coaches badge.
Competition payment
Registration fee adults: 500 SEK
Late registration fee adults and masters: 600 SEK
Registration fee girls & boys: 350 SEK
Late registration fee girls & boys: 450 SEK

No refunds if you don’t make weight.
You can change weight class via Smoothcomp until 2025-11-25 23:59.
Please note! If you don’t make weight, tournament organization will not move you to another weight class, and you will be disqualified.

Prices
Gold, silver and bronze medals.
10000 SEK to winners in the Absolute-tournament.
Spectators
Entrance fee 50 SEK.

For competitors under the age of 18 years old competing in the Adult class.
In order to compete in ADCC Sweden tournament for grapplers under 18 years you need an exemption from the Swedish Submission Wrestling Federation.
You can apply for the exemption if you are 15 years or older by uploading a guardian’s certificate. Please download the application pdf from here and follow the instructions in the pdf.
