AIGA EUROPE 2025
ATTENTION
Dear friends,
We would like to inform you that, following organizational planning, a decision has been made to hold the AIGA EUROPE Championship.
This decision was made based on the current registration structure in order to ensure a comfortable schedule, high-quality organization, and personalized attention for every participant.
AIGA EUROPE -2025 will take place on August 23 in Istanbul at «Сomplex Istanbul»
The championship will be conducted in accordance with
the AIGA Rules and Regulations for international competitions. The event
will be overseen by official AIGA representatives, and the referee team
will include appointed international technical officials.

Minimum Participation Requirement
To ensure the competitiveness of our championships, each weight category must
have at least two (2) registered and weighed-in athletes for the competition
to take place.
Athletes should be aware that after the weigh-in procedure, there may be cases
where fewer than two (2) participants remain in a category. In such cases
the match will not take place, and no medal will be awarded.
Athletes affected by this situation will be given the opportunity to compete
in the next suitable weight category (only one category higher than their
originally registered category), provided that safety requirements are met
and the minimum number of participants is present.
Registration
Participation Requirements
Open to participants from all countries worldwide.
-Each national federation may register an unlimited number of athletes
in each weight category.
-Once the limit of 1000 people is reached, registration will be closed.
-Athletes must hold the citizenship of the country they represent and
comply with all AIGA rules and regulations.
-Registration is based on the athleteʼs year of birth.
-Registration is allowed in only one weight category.
Standard registration deadline: Until Jule 31,2025.
Kids (12-13, 14-15): $70 USD
Kids 16-17 $90 USD
Youth & Masters(18-19, +30): $120 USD
Late Registration Period: August 1, 2025 – August 14, 2025 (inclusive)
Kids (12-13, 14-15): $90 USD

For athletes in the age categories “4-5”, “6-7”, “8-9” and “10-11”, an excess of up to 1 kg is allowed;
For athletes in the age categories “12-13” and “14-15” years, an excess of up to 500 gr is allowed;
For athletes in the age category of 16-17 years and above, excess weight is not allowed.
In case of failure to fit into the declared weight category, the athlete will be transferred to a category that corresponds to his weight, if desired. Transferring it to a category corresponding to its weight will be subject to a fine of $50.
Participants must weigh in wearing shorts and a T-shirt/rashguard.
Teams must show up for the weigh-in ceremony in full force (along with a coach or representative) and weigh in at the time allotted to them. Each participant must have a passport or other identification document with them.
COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS’
CLOTHING UNIFORM
Athletes must follow the competition rules regarding individual dress requirements.
If a participant in the competition fails to comply with the above rules, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the tournament. Athletes wearing shorts, a rashguard/T-shirt (it is not allowed to compete with a bare torso) and tights that cover the athlete’s hips and knees are allowed to participate in the competition.
Form requirements: Rashguard/T-shirt: Athletes are required to wear a tight fitting T-shirt or rashguard that covers the torso and reaches down to the shorts. Shorts: The length of shorts must be at least to mid-thigh (no more than 10 cm, above the knee). Shorts must not be below the knee. Pockets are allowed, but these pockets must be sewn up, they must not have buttons, ties, plastic or metal zippers.
Competitors are required to wear elastic leg-hugging underwear (tights). The underwear must be below the knees.
The use of shoes, hats, hairpins, jewelry, shells (protective equipment for the genitals) or other protective equipment made of hard materials that may cause injury to an opponent or the participant himself is prohibited.
TRAINERS
Only one coach may be present on the competition ground with an athlete. During the bout, the coach is within the ground and may prompt and second his athlete. The coach must be dressed appropriately (in a tracksuit or official uniform).
Competing athletes wearing shorts and a rashguard to act as second to another athlete are not allowed on the competition floor. A special dress code may be established within the tournament. If a coach exhibits inappropriate behavior towards the judges, organizers, athletes, spectators or anyone else, the judge has the right to remove him from the officials’ area for the remainder of the match.
The organizers or host also have the right to prohibit the presence of any unwanted persons in the competition area.
PRIZES
Athletes who take prize places in their categories will be awarded medals and diplomas. There are also prize places in the absolute category.
Absolute winners of the competition:
• 1st place – $5000
• 2nd place – $3000
• 3rd place – $1500
FINANCIAL EXPENSES
The organizers are responsible for the costs associated with the organization and holding of the championship.
The expenses for sending teams (travel, food, accommodation for tournament participants, PCR tests, etc.) are borne by the sending organizations.
