Events

The tournament will take place at Sport Center Irchel (Winterthurerstrasse 190, 8057 Zurich) on Sunday (18.01.2026). Weigh-ins will start at 8:30, competitors have to weigh in minimum 1 hour before their first match, weigh-ins close at 13:00.

Divisions include Novice, Beginner, Advanced and Professional categories in No-Gi. The Novice division is for athletes with up to 6 months of experience and allows only straight ankle locks. The More Advanced divisions are open to athletes with more than 6 months of training or previous competition experience and follow the ADCC ruleset. All but the  Professional division exclude heel hooks and knee reaping. All matches have a duration of five minutes. There will be Single Elimination Brackets.

An Absolute Division will also be held, open to all weight classes and experience levels. The Absolute Division follows the ADCC ruleset and has five-minute rounds. The winner of the Absolute Division will receive a €500 cash prize.

The ruleset is based on ADCC competition standards, with an emphasis on submissions and positional control. Points are active for the whole duration of the match. Referee decisions are final.

Weigh-ins take place on the day of the event at Sport Center Irchel. Competitors must weigh in with their competition attire. If an athlete misses weight, they may be moved to another division at the organizer’s discretion.

Unique medals are awarded for first, second, and third place in all divisions. The Absolute Division winner receives a €500 cash prize. 

The schedule will be announced closer to the event. Doors open at 8:30 and matches will start at 9:30.
