Tournament Format: Round Robin + Knockout

Ruleset: A No-Gi Grappling tournament following the IBJJF rules

Whitebelt only

Division Guidelines

Novice

Less than 9 months of grappling experience

No cauliflower ears

Beginner

9+ months but less than 2 years of grappling experience

Matches (IBJJF Rules)

Novice – 3 minutes

Beginner – 4 minutes

Takedown: 2 points

Guard pass: 3 points

Mount/back: 4 points

Sweep: 2 points

Knee on belly: 2 points

Submission attempt: 2 points

No stalling, slamming, or heel hooks

Clothing:

Shorts – no pockets, buttons, zippers, or metal parts

Spats or compression shorts allowed underneath

No gi pants allowed

All clothing must be clean and odor-free

Dirty rashguards = instant disqualification

Scoring:

Win via submission = 3 points

Win via points/referee decision = 2 points

Draw = 1 point

Loss = 0 points

  Division Merging Notice:

If there are not enough competitors registered in a specific weight or experience division, athletes may be merged into a nearby weight or experience category to ensure fair and competitive matches. Every effort will be made to keep matchups as balanced and safe as possible.
