The Cauliflower Cup Circuit kicks off in Amsterdam! This is the first stop of a 5-event series running throughout the year, giving athletes multiple opportunities to compete, collect points, and battle their way to the top of Europe’s most competitive BJJ circuit.
Whether you compete in Gi, No-Gi, or Absolute, you’re guaranteed at least 2 matches thanks to our double-elimination format in the weight categories. Lose once? You still have the chance to fight your way back to the podium in the third-place bracket.
Our venue, Sporthallen Zuid, provides 10 full competition areas, a massive warm-up space, and a professional stage for champions—ensuring a world-class experience for both athletes and spectators.
Competition Format
- Weight Divisions (Gi & No-Gi): Double elimination system. Competitors are guaranteed at least two matches. Losers from the main bracket move into a secondary bracket, where they can still fight for third place.
- Absolute Divisions: Single elimination. Once you’re out, you’re out—making this the ultimate test of skill and strategy.
Ruleset & Categories
- All divisions (Gi & No-Gi) follow the IBJJF ruleset.
- IBJJF weight classes will be used for both male and female competitors.
- A 500g weight allowance applies across all categories.
- Gi competitors register according to belt and age.
- No-Gi athletes register as Beginner, Intermediate, or Professional based on training experience.
Circuit Points System
The Cauliflower Cup Circuit is more than one tournament—it’s a season-long challenge. Competitors earn points at every event, and rankings are tracked across all 5 events.
