GIVE AWAY – 1 FREE REGISTRATION

We give every academy at our tournaments “1 free competitor registration” to give to a student of theirs, be it a kid or an adult, who has never competed in any BJJ tournament before to participate in our tournament! This gives every academy a chance to get a practitioner of theirs who has never competed before the opportunity to get out there and get their feet wet without paying a fee. The Gym leader or Coach chooses who they want to send off to our tournaments. With this opportunity, we hope that even more people will want to compete and Grappling can become even bigger in Scandinavia.

Gym coaches or owners must email info@danishopenbjj.dk to collect the free registration by telling us the academy they represent, which tournament, and the competitor’s name they are emailing for.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW REFEREES and staff FOR Danish Open

As a referee, you will be paid as well as travel costs and food.

To be able to referee at Danish open, you must have brown or black belt or completed an IBJJF referee course.

Coaches

Each academy is permitted to bring up to two coaches per day. Coaches must register for a coach pass before Thursday at 23:59 during the competition week here competitions@artesuave.dk with coach name and academy.

Upon arrival, each coach will receive a badge for entrance. Please note that no additions or alterations to the list of coaches will be accepted at the event. Any attempts to discuss or negotiate the coach’s pass with our staff will result in removal from the arena.

PRIZES

Every weight classes’ three best fighters get medals.

Weigh-in:

Before his/her first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight with the Gi. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight,they will be immediately disqualified. Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions ,if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund.

We recommend that you show up at least 45 min, before your first fight!

All athletes must bring a photo ID with them to the competition, you can not compete without one.

Correction Check day:The athletes must make sure that their information is correct by checking the website on the registration listfor their weight, belt, academy, age division, and name information.(Check Correction date deadline) .

The brackets will be released before the tournament .

After the registration check day, no changes will be made and no refunds will be given.

During the tournament, any mistakes on the brackets that were not correct previous to sign-in check day will lead to immediate disqualification .
