Eidsvoll Open is a Submission Wrestling Tournament with SW ruleset!

Winner of the adult male EXPERT open weight category will get 20 000,- in prize money!! The winner of the female EXPERT open weight category will get 20 000,- in prize money!!

The tournament:

There is several categories for entrie, for male and female, juvenile, adult and master 1.

Novice is for absolute beginners, Beginner is for experienced beginners, Intermediate for blue belt level athletes, Advanced for purple belt level athletes and Expert for brown and black belt level athletes.

An athlete can enter the category that suits the athletes experience level. The athlete can go up in experience level (Ex. A Beginner athlete can enter the Intermediate level), but never down in experience level (Sandbagging). All entries should be cleared with own coach and in accordance with event waiver and the ruleset. Obvious cases of Sandbagging will result in DQ!

The event has special ruleset – athletes and coaches must read the rules before entering!!

Schedule:

08:00 Door opens – weigh ins upon arrival and registration at the door.

09:00 Rule meeting Mat 1

09:30 Tournament starts

13:00 Open weight Advanced and Expert

15:30 Tournament finished

The schedule can be changed!

Weigh Ins:

The athlete MUST register for his/her division at least one hour before start. You weigh in at registration. If you don’t make weight, you will be DQed.

Brackets:

Brackets will be published the day before the tournament starts. Please ensure that you can make the weight for you category. If there is an issue, we need to be contacted at least 48 hours before competition day.

Refunds:

After entry and payment, refunds will only be given in the instance the athlete is injured or ill and this has to be documented from health professionals.

Other:

Changes and combined weight categories will happen in the event there is few athletes in a category. ‘

Entrance Fee

150,- per person in entrance fee. Payment at the door. Limited capacity.

Coaches

Coaches are free, but is limited to two coaches per Team. Please contact us if your team is in need for more coaches and we will evaluate this. E-mail: kontakt@rambukken.no

Practical information:

The event will be held in Råholt, venue to be decided!

Parking: depends on venue, more information to come!

Train: Eidsvoll Verk Station – 200 meters from the event.

Kiosk at the venue – both card and Vipps. Råholt Shopping Center and grocery stores near by.

Showers are available.
