ELITE BJJ EVENTS – BJJ JUNIOR EUROPEAN GI & NO GI CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025
Welcome to the Elite BJJ Events Junior European Gi & No Gi Championships 2025!
We hope you’re looking forward to a jam packed day of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi and No Gi action from competitors age 4 right up to Juvenile.
Elite BJJ Events have been running Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions since 2015. We pride ourselves on running an organised, enjoyable and safe event for all.
Our European Championships will take place at Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton, UK and look forward to welcoming all national and international competitors to our event.
We always ensure top quality equipment and a bespoke set up for every competition. We also provide specially made amazing quality medals and team trophies for all competitors and teams to strive towards winning.

Elite BJJ Events
REGISTRATION
Registration fees will be offered at a discounted rate, normal rate, then a late entry rate. Discounts are offered if entering both elements (gi & no gi). Please enter early for the best price.
Early Bird Price – (Ends 3.08.2025 at 23:59)
One Element (Gi or No-Gi) – £45 / Both Elements – £80
Normal Price – (Ends 28.09.2025 at 23:59)
One Element (Gi or No-Gi) – £50 / Both Elements – £90
Late Entry Price – (Ends 12.10.2025 at 23:59)
One Element (Gi or No-Gi) – £60 / Both Elements – £110
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON 12.10.2025 AT 23:59. PLEASE NOTE NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
REGISTERING/CATEGORIES
In all Elite BJJ Events, competitors are strictly required to register and compete within their designated belt categories. Mixing of belt ranks within divisions is not permitted under any circumstances. For example, a grey belt is not allowed to enter a yellow belt category, and similarly, a white belt may not register to compete in a grey belt division. This rule is enforced to maintain fairness, safety, and integrity across all competition brackets. All athletes must accurately represent their current belt rank at the time of registration and on the day of the event.
Any athlete who registers in the wrong category, whether intentionally or by mistake, will be disqualified on the day of the event.
AMENDMENTS
You have until 6pm on Monday 13th October 2025 to make any changes to your registration. You can make these changes by logging into your Smoothcomp account and modifying your registration details. After this change deadline, no further changes will be allowed.
SINGLE CATEGORIES
Following registration closing and the amendments deadline, any competitor who is in a single category will receive an email with the options available. Please note the safety of the competitor is paramount and only safe moves will be offered.
COMPETITOR LISTS
Competitor Lists will be live throughout the registration process and can be viewed by checking out the athlete’s tab on the event page.
ID
All competitors must pass an ID check to allow them to compete. This will be located inside of the venue. Any identification with the competitors full name and date of birth will be accepted. Without this, competitors will not be able to compete and will be disqualified from the competition.
WEIGH IN
All competitors will weigh in just before their first fight. Athletes who are competing in both elements will need to weigh in for both Gi & No Gi in the correct uniform prior to their first fight.
*THERE IS NO ALLOWANCE. ANY COMPETITORS WEIGHING OVER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED*
We only allow competitors to weigh in on the official weigh in scales once. There will be no changing of categories on the day of the event.
SCHEDULE & BRACKETS
Brackets will be released on Thursday 10th July 2025. These can be viewed by selecting the brackets tab on the events page. Please make a note of the start time of your first match and make sure you are at the venue at least 1 hour before your fight time. During the day, please make sure you keep an eye on your mobile device to make sure you are aware when your next match is and what mat you should be on. Please note that Smoothcomp is a live system and the time may change throughout the day as the competition is progressing.
Please note any competitors fighting on Mats 1, 2, 3 or 4 will need to go to Bullpen A and competitors on Mats 5, 6, 7 or 8 will need to go to Bullpen B. You will need to be in the bullpen 15 minutes before your fight time. The bullpens will be clear to locate inside of the venue.
ABSOLUTES
Any competitors in Teen 1 & Teen 2 – Grey, Yellow and Orange/ Green belt divisions who medal in their own category will be able to register and compete in the absolute division if they wish. Medal winners can sign up for the absolutes at the podium after they have collected their medal.
RESULTS
You can keep up to date with results via the results tab at the top of the events page.
SPECTATORS
Spectators will be able to enjoy the event for a £5 payment on the door of the event. Please note this payment is CASH only. Anyone refusing to pay this will not be allowed into the venue.
REFUND POLICY
We issue credit refunds for an event registration fee until the date specified. After this date, no credits will be issued. These can be issued by logging into your Smoothcomp account and cancelling your event registration. All refunds will be given in the way of a Coupon to use for free entry to a future Elite BJJ Event.
COACH PASSES
We offer 2 x coach passes per academy. To request a coach pass please email the following details to admin@elitebjjevents.co.uk by 6pm Thursday 8th May 2025:
Coach or Professors full name, grade and academy they will be representing. Please note coach passes will only be issued to official coach’s and will not be issued to parents.
Coach passes will be available for collection on the registration desk before entering the venue.
WARM UP AREA
A warm up area will be available inside the venue. This is for athletes who must be in their gi or no gi attire and who are competing only. Coach’s and parents will not be allowed on the warm up area.
RESPECT
All competitors and attendees are expected to behave respectfully at all times. Aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who fails to comply with this standard of conduct.
