Kaizen League is BACK and we are going Underground. We are looking for the next big thing therefore we setup a small-scale competition to find the best and brightest White Belts and Blue Belts in Gi and Nogi , IBJJF rules.

This competition will be behind closed doors, no viewers or supporters just you, your coach your opponent and the mats.

The event wil be streamed online !

Kaizen League is on the hunt for new talent! Do you have what it takes to become the next underground champion? This is your chance to earn a potential spot in the spotlight at our Kaizen shows, battling alongside some of the best fighters in the world, with over \ fans watching live.

We’re not focused on age—we’re looking for fighters who can deliver amazing matches. If you’re ready to step up, we want to see what you’ve got!

2 FIGHTS GUARANTEED

All competitors will be guaranteed to have at least 2 fights BUT:

one GI and one NO-GI fight!

This Tournament will be a knock-out system.

We follow IBJJF rules for this tournament, including points and techniques.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPTITORS

There is a maximum number of 120 competitors.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Early bird registration:

14-10-2024 – 03-11-2024 Costs: € 45 ,-

Normal registrations:

04-11-2024 – 20-11-2024 23:59 Costs: € 50 ,-

REFUND

No Refunds are possible to keep the standard of the competition high.

WEIGH-IN

All competitors must have done their weigh-in 1 hour before the start of their first match.

Weigh-in must be done in full gi with belt. Men are not allowed to wear rashguard underneath their gi, ladies are allowed to wear one. There will be a zero tolerance at the weigh-in. If you don’t make weight, you will be disqualified and you lose your match on ‘Walk-Over’.

DIVISIONS

Men:

Age: 16 and older (adults)

Weight class: -57,5kg, -64kg, -70kg, -76kg, -82,3kg, -88,3kg, -94,3kg, -100,5kg & +100,5

If there are no matches in your weight class, weight classes could be merged.

Female:

Age: 16 and older (adults)

Weight class: -48,5kg, -53,5kg, -58,5 kg, -64kg, -69kg, -74kg, -79,3kg & +79,3kg

If there are no matches in your weight class, weight classes could be merged.

MATCH TIME

Adults:

5 minutes – White belts

6 minutes – Blue belts

COACHING

Max 2 coaches per team

RULES

This event will be contested under IBJJF standards. You can find the rules on www.ibjjf.com/rules/

Note: In all situations that recall a belt difference, the lower belt rules will be applied.

SUPPORTERS

No Supporters are allowed on the premises, this tournament will be done behind closed doors only with competitors and there respective coaches.
