We would like to inform you that IJS is holding an in-school tournament on March 15, 2025! Here’s more information 👇

Dear friends and fans of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we invite you to participate in the BJJ Winter Championship PAPHOS!

One of the unique features of our tournaments is that children will compete in categories with a maximum of four participants per category, and all four participants will receive awards: 1st place, 2nd place, and two 3rd places.

For adults, the competition is open to white belts and masters (30+), with the option to register immediately for the absolute category!

The tournament is open to kids (ages 4–16) and adults (white belts only). You don’t need to be highly experienced to participate—just give it a try, and you won’t leave empty-handed! Everyone deserves a prize.

The registration for the tournament is available only till 12rd of March and will cost 40 euro’s for kids and 50 euro’s for adults. If you want to take part in the tournament, write me in the dm’s, and I’ll help you out.

REGULATIONS:

📅 March 15

• 8:30 a.m. – Weigh-in (all divisions)

• 10:00 a.m. – Tournament opening

• 10:05 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – GI (all children’s divisions)

• 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Adults (all divisions)

⏳ Times may vary; we recommend arriving at the competition venue at least 1.5 hours before your scheduled time in the online system.

⚖️ Weigh-ins will be conducted without the gi (in shorts and a T-shirt).

RULES:

• IBJJF RULES (with adjustments for children’s category divisions)

⚠️ IMPORTANT!

If fewer than two participants register in a weight category, the organizer reserves the right to merge categories (by weight, age, and belt level).

The organizer also reserves the right to close registration early (for some or all divisions) if the maximum number of participants is reached.
