Roll Models 26 – Competition Announcement

We are excited to announce the date for our next White, and Belt competition, including both Gi and No-Gi divisions! Due to overwhelming feedback from our poll we are again including Purple belts this time around!

**Event Details:**

– **Date:** March 2nd

– **Location:** Ormiston Horizon Academy, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 6JZ

Doors open 9am

This tournament, following a modified IBJJF ruleset, will be open to White, Blue, and Purple Belt competitors.

**Registration Fees:**

– **Adult Single Entry (Gi or No-Gi):** £30

– **Dual Gi and No-Gi Entry:** £45 + booking fee

**Divisions:**

– **Over 35’s Male Division:** Available.

**Important Rules:**

– **Modified IBJJF:** Any color Gi allowed (no ripstop jackets).

– **Restrictions:** No Judo Black Belts, high-level wrestlers, or pro/ammy MMA athletes in White Belt or Beginners divisions. White Belts with such experience may compete at Blue Belt level with their coach’s permission (wearing a white belt).

– **Weigh-Ins:** All weigh-ins will be without the Gi. Please weigh in at least 1 hour before your division starts (brackets released after entry closes)

– **Gear:** Knee pads, headguards, etc., are allowed as long as there are no sharp edges.

**Spectators:** £5

**Coaches:** Free (1 per team)
