The centre offers a large dojo area where we will have 3 fighting mats, along with the podium, weigh in stations and medics.
Friends and family can watch your match from the bleachers positioned just in front of the mats.
Upstairs you will find a lovely bar with tables and windows overlooking the dojo on the one side, and a balcony with a view of the heath on the other side.
There is free parking on site and additional spaces are available on the neighbouring roads.

Event Day Instructions
Arrive at least 90 mins before your match.
For first matches of the day, arriving at doors open is fine.
Match times update live on Smoothcomp — check regularly. Brackets may shift due to submissions or no-shows.
Be at the mat, weighed in, and ready when called. You’ll be called 3 times — no-shows are disqualified with no refund.
If your opponent no-shows, you’ll receive a coupon for a future event.
Weigh Ins
Weigh-ins are open all day.
Gi is not required to weigh in.
No weight allowance — missing weight = disqualification (no refund).
You can change weight class within the edit window on Smoothcomp.
Weigh-in is available the evening before, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. A 1.5 kg allowance is applied for the evening weigh-in to account for the natural increase in weight that occurs later in the day.

UKGCC Warriors League Presentation
For experienced grapplers hunting for Champion Belts, we’ve created the UKGCC Warriors League Absolute NoGi division, which will follow the UKGCC ruleset. This ruleset prioritises fighting for submissions over positional control.
Champion belt for the winner!
All grapplers can sign up regardless of experience and belt.
UKGCC ruleset in short:
- Win by submission, points or ref tiebreaker decision
- One point back take
- One point mount
- One point for failed submission attempt
- Penalty for 20-second stall
- Less One point for each penalty
- No overtime
- No advantages
- 6-min match
Important Note
Please keep in mind that this is an elite division. It often features seasoned competitors and coaches aiming for the belt.
If you haven’t competed in an absolute division before or don’t have significant competition experience, we recommend sitting this one out.
