Why Veterans Breakthrough?
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2020, our mission is to empower veterans post-service through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, retreats, and personal growth initiatives. By uniting the BJJ community, we aim to provide a sense of purpose, physical recovery, and emotional healing for those who have given so much to our country.

Event Details
VENUE:
Address is 4517 E Mallory Circle Hangar 109, Mesa, AZ 85215. These are the blue and silver hangars located on the Northwest side of the Falcon Filed Airport in Mesa.
RULES:
We will be using a slightly modified version of IBJJF Rules* (Please refer to their website for the latest rules) https://ibjjf.com/rules/*No advantage points. Ties will go to refs decision.
FEES:
Registration Fee: $80
All registrations must be received by October 31st at 11:59 pm
SPECTATOR FEE: $10

Tournament Brackets
The tournament is double elimination fight for 3rd.
Medals will be awarded to the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place of each division. Athletes will compete for the third place!!
2 Fight minimum Guaranteed.
(Brackets with 2 athletes will be best of 3 and brackets with 3 athletes will be round robin)
WEIGH-INS:
Registration and weight in can happen anytime after doors open. Athlete will check his/her weight with their No-Gi Uniform
Event Shirts
Athletes who register prior to October 15, 2025 will receive a complimentary event t-shirt which they should pick up at the event. All shirts must be picked up at the event’s shirt booth. Veterans Breakthrough is not responsible for shipping forgotten t-shirts.
