Registration fees:

KIDS

Early bird (until 01 05 2024): GI – CHF 50, NO GI – CHF 50, GI & NO GI – CHF 90

Normal: GI – CHF 80, NO GI – CHF 80, GI & NO GI – CHF 120

ADULTS

Early bird (until 01 05 2024): GI – CHF 60, NO GI – CHF 60, GI & NO GI – CHF 100

Normal: GI – CHF 80, NO GI – CHF 80, GI & NO GI – CHF 130

Entrance fee: CHF 5

Kids – The first matches of the day will start at 12:30 pm on Saturday.

Adults – The first matches of the day will start at 11:30 am on Sunday.

Parking: to park at Mehrzweckhalle Wallisellen – follow the signs for Parkhaus Schwimmbad

There is a car park with limited number of spaces and there is street parking opposite and down the residential side roads.

NO HIGH HEELS ALLOWED IN THE VENUE.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Are your kids and adults ready to showcase their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills in an action-packed event? Join us for an exciting day of friendly competition as Swiss Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu National Federation (SBJJNF) proudly presents the  Zurich BJJ Summer Open Kids Gi & no-Gi 2024.

The tournament is for children from ages 4-17 years and adults from 18 years old.

The event will be streamed live.

Important information:

Note that the kids’ matches are generally faster than scheduled. With this, PLEASE be sure to be in the arena with plenty of time to prepare. Kimonos must be white, blue or black. Rash guards must be with at least 10% of the rank colour(belt) to which the athlete belongs.

If there are any errors on the application or in the name of the participant, changes should be made until the event’s registration deadline, requests sent after the correction deadline will be ignored.

The Supreme Organizing Committee shall be entitled to close the registration in case the number of registered players reaches its full capacity.

Coaches

We allow a maximum of 4 coaches. Academies must give the list of coaches participating in the event (the prove for the belt must be provided).

If the participating team is big, 4 people to help the coach is mandatory per academy (the above rule for the coaches apply).

Rules

AJP RULES

Please be respectful at all the times.

HOW WE MERGE GROUPS FOR KIDS

We will merge/combine groups if necessary. We will do this according to the described standard.

1. We will combine weight classes within the same age and belt (we will try to avoid any weight differences);

2. We will combine weight classes within the same age but combine belts;

3. We will move to another weight class but with the same belt;

4. We will move to another weight class and/or belt and age class;

5. We may mix boys and girls if there is no opponent in their category;

6. If no option above is possible, we will cancel the weight class and give a refund.

REFUND POLICY

Athletes have until the last day of registration to apply for a refund.

Refunds will not be available in case of athlete’s disqualification.
