We are proud to present to you the first ever Copa Pódio competition in Europe. The Copa Pódio organization is one of the biggest BJJ organisations world wide and will give a stage to the biggest BJJ prospects in the scene.

All participants must have active (free) membership in Copa Pódio to enter the Copa Pódio rankings.
ACADEMY REGISTRATION

Rules
This contest will be contested according to the IBJJF ruleset. More information about the rules and fight duration by division can be found here in the Rules tab.
weighing
The weigh-in must be done in full gi if you compete in just the gi. If you compete with and without the gi, the weigh-in will be done without the gi. See more information about weighing in the weighing tab here.

Podium Cup Format
Copa Pódio has used the round-robin system as a format for its Grand Prix in the MAIN LEAGUE since its creation in 2011. However, we are now also implementing the round-robin system in its official competitions with the aim of promoting and strengthening the Brazilian Championship. Jiu-Jitsu, and helping athletes reach professional levels.
The official championships were launched with the aim of bringing our organization closer to the work of teams spread across Brazil and the world, as well as monitoring the performance of athletes who were previously inaccessible due to the impossibility of following the championships of so many organizations spread across Brazil.
Entering the GRAND PRIX
Selection of athletes for access to Copa Pódio professional leagues:
From October 5, 2024, only champions or athletes classified in official championships or semifinalists of Grand Prix events from the previous season will be able to participate in the main Professional League (brown and black belts) and the Acces Leagues (Liga Laranja, Azules, Purple Games, Iron Brown Belts or other leagues or superfights promoted by the organization).

ATHLETE RANKING Copa Pódio
All champions of official championships become part of the official Copa Pódio ranking, which will be updated regularly on the organization’s page on Smoothcomp, where each victory by points or advantages in championships will count as 1 point in the ranking, and a victory by submission will be worth contains 3 points .
The ranking points will be cumulative and will not be reset between belts, that is, white belt champions will take their points to the next rank and the same will happen with all ranks. Regardless of classification, in any official championship, the Copa Pódio organization will be able to choose, among the champions, fighters of any category or age to join the access and main leagues.
