EJIU – BARCELONA ROUND ROBIN 2024
The European Jiu-Jitsu League (EJiu) is a sports league created with the aim of enhancing the quality and professionalism of the sport of jiu-jitsu in Europe. The league organizes jiu-jitsu events in various cities, including Barcelona, Geneva, Zurich, Milan, Frankfurt, Eindhoven, and Amsterdam. The events follow a robin-round-style round system, where each competitor participates in a minimum of four matches. The final decision on the winner is based on the number of victories, with additional criteria such as points and head-to-head matchups being considered in case of a tie. This competition format aims to provide a high-quality experience and promote the professionalization of jiu-jitsu in Europe.
Rules
This competition will be contested under the AJP rulesset. More information on the rules, fight duration per division can be found HERE on the Rules tab.
Weigh-in
The weigh-in has to be done in full gi if you compete in just the gi competition. If you compete in both gi and no-gi the weigh-in will be done in the no-gi gear. See more information on the weigh-in at the weigh-in tab here.
Competition format & rules
The EJIU Eindhoven will provide you with option to compete in both gi & no-gi.
Both gi & no-gi will have 5 minute rounds for each match and will be fought within the AJP ruleset.
The brackets will be a round-robin system.

Kids & Juvenile
Beginner – White , Grey belt
Intermediate – Yellow belt up
Adult & Master
Beginner – White belt
Advanced – Blue , Purple Belt
Professional – Purple, Brown, Black Belt
