Welcome everybody to the second edition of the Evolve Jiu Jitsu Championship.

2 FIGHTS GUARANTEED for all competitors

All competitors will be guaranteed to fight at least 2 fights via a double knockout system.

This event will be contested under the IBJJF ruleset.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPeTITORS

There is a maximum number of 200 competitors to make sure the event will run smoothly.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

€ 30,- Early Bird registration until 3-9-2023

€ 35,- Normal registration from 4-9-2023 until 15-10-2023

€ 40,- Late registration until 16-10-2023 until 12-11-2023

REFUND

When your registration has been paid, you will not be able to get your money back, because the money will be used to give the best service to the other competitors.

WEIGH-IN

Weigh-in starts at 10:00 and ends 1 hour before your first fight.

Weigh-in must be done in full gi with belt. Men are not allowed to wear rashguard underneath their gi, ladies are allowed to wear one. There will be a zero tolerance at the weigh-in. If you don’t make weight, you will be disqualified and you lose your match on ‘Walk-Over’. All the ‘+’ competitors also have to show up at the weigh-in to let us know they’re present, if you don’t show up you’ll lose on ‘No-show’.

DIVISIONS

ADULT/MALE (16 and above):

White, Blue, and Elite division (purple,brown,black combined).

Weight classes: -64kg, -70kg, -76kg, -82kg, -88kg, -94kg, -100kg & +100kg

MASTER/MALE (35 and above):

White & Blue belt division

Weight classes: -64kg, -70kg, -76kg, -82kg, -88kg, -94kg, -100kg & +100kg

ADULT/FEMALE (16 and above):

White & Blue belt division

Weight class: -63 kg & +63kg

Note: if there are not enough competitors in a division, the organization will move the competitor to the next available higher division (weight divisions will be merged with the division below).

MATCH DURATION

ADULT:

White Belt – 5 minutes

Blue Belt – 6 minutes

Purple/Brown/Black – 7 minutes

MASTER:

White Belt – 4 minutes

Blue Belt – 5 minutes

GETTING READY

Be at the warm-up area 4 fights before your match starts and pay attention to the live bracket schedule on Smoothcomp. The brackets will be visible at the weigh-in, but also on the screen of your mobile phone on the Smoothcomp website. Keep in mind that it is your own responsibility to be on time. When your name has been called out, you have to be ready at your competition mat within 2 minutes otherwise you will be disqualified.

COACHING

The competitors are allowed to have 1 coach with them at the competition area. Incase a team has 4 competitors 2 coaches are allowed. Incase a team has 6 or more a maximum of 3 coaches are allowed.

Note: In all situations that recall a belt difference, the lower belt rules will be applied.

SUPPORTERS

Visitors are allowed but will pay an entrance fee of 3,- at the door.
