Leitrim Grappling Championship is back with our 3rd event, and as witnessed last time out, it’s a great day out for all..

We have Gi & No-Gi categories for Kids(all belts), Juvenille(White & Blue belts) and Adults(White, Blue & Purple belt)

It is a very affordable competition and is round robin** style event meaning you will have a minimum of 2 to 3 matches for your cost of entry. (** – if entries in categories are 6 or over it will be single elimination)

Matches will be sub only and no points system, however if no winner, the referee will pick a winner based on genuine submission attempts, takedowns and dominance.

Weigh ins start at 8.30am, first match at 9am. If you weigh in for No-Gi you do not need to weigh in again for Gi. Gi only weigh in will be with Gi on.

Rules:

White belt – IBJJF Rules

Blue belt – No heel hooks, twisters or neck cranks

Purple belt – No twisters or neck cranks

No slams to get out of submissions

Takedowns and hip throws allowed

Time limits:

Kids – 3 minute

Juvenille – 4 minute

White belts – 6 minute

Blue belts – 6 minute

Purple belts – 6 minute
