Mighty Grappling Events  – Saturday 18th & 19th of May 2024.

SPECTATORS

ALL Adult Spectators will be able to purchase tickets at the door or soon online via the link to be released below 👇 in which you will have access to entry, not only to watch your friends/family compete but you will also have full access to a whole weekend of different sports competing on an Expo – FitXpo! The most famous and competitive faces of your favourite sports 🔥

For each child entry – ONE adult will be permitted to spectate for free

Coach passes – 2 per competition team; this must be submitted atleast 1 week before competition by sending an email of your details and academy to info@mightygrapplingevents.com 🏆

CHANGES TO ENTRY

You must make any necessary changes yourself by logging into your smoothcomp account. You have access to change your entry up until midnight on 13th May.

BROWN BELTS/BLACK BELTS – You get 50% off your entry, email info@mightygrapplingevents.com to claim your coupon code.

Please check your entry to make sure all the following are correct:

Academy name – Cannot be changed on the day

Weight category – You must make weight on the day or you cannot fight, there is 0.5kg allowance only for children under 18yrs old.

Age category – Check you are in the correct place, or go into a younger one

Belt – been promoted? Please update your entry

Any changes must be made by yourself by logging into your smoothcomp account before midnight on 13th May.

WEIGH INS – IBJJF weight categories. Weigh ins will be available from 8am on the day for boys, girls and juveniles under 18yrs old. From 9am for every other competitor.  Option for day before weigh ins in “Weigh ins Tab”…

ARRIVAL TIME

You only have to be at the event 1 hour before you fight to sign in, warmed up and weighed in.  You don’t have to be there all day, however you are welcome to arrive early and stay as long as you would like. Your tickets will guarantee you access to both days so be sure to get them early to avoid disappointment!

FIGHT TIMES

We will only know fight times once registration has closed and brackets have been created. We estimate to have this information on the 13th of May but will keep everyone update in our social media.

MERGES

We will be looking at the competitor list on 15th of May and will start to make any necessary merges.  Ideally there should be at least 4 in a category in case someone does not show up, so fights can still go ahead. You also have the opportunity to merge/move yourself into another category on Check Day.

ABSOLUTES

Cash prizes will be awarded as follows for Absolute division winners. There must be at least 10 competitors in each division in able for this to go ahead:

White Belt – 1st place: £80 / 2nd place: sponsors rashguard / 3rd place: Free registration entry to next event

Blue Belt – 1st place: £120 / 2nd place: sponsors rashguard / 3rd place: Free registration entry to next event

Purple Belt – 1st place: £170 / 2nd place: sponsors rashguard / 3rd place: Free registration entry to next event

Brown/Black Belt – 1st place: £220 / 2nd place: sponsors rashguard / 3rd place: Free registration entry to next event
