Weight classes for Women:
Note that you DO NOT have to wear your gi at weigh-in
ALL WEIGHT DIVISIONS WILL FOLLOW A ROUND-ROBIN FORMAT
ABSOLUTE DIVISIONS WILL BE A SINGLE-ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
The time limit for every adult match will be 5 minutes.
The match scoring will follow the Grappling Industries guidelines meaning the following:
-Matches follow traditional BJJ point scoring: 4 for the mount, 4 for the back, 3 for a guard pass, 2 for a sweep, 2 for a takedown, 2 for knee on stomach, and 2 for a solid submission attempt that was stopped out of bounds.
-All positions must be held and controlled for 3 seconds.
-There is no “Advantage” scoring.
-A first penalty will result in a warning, a second penalty will result in the opponent being given 2 points, a third penalty will result in disqualification.
-If a match finishes in a draw, the referee of the match will declare a winner by Referee Decision at their discretion.
-A match will be deemed over immediately if a competitor taps out, screams, or verbally gives up during the match.
A list of the allowed techniques in each division is availible at the following link
Rules meeting: 9.00-9.30
Match start: 10.00
Gi: Athletes have to wear a BJJ gi/kimono that fits their body along with a belt colored to match their rank in BJJ(White, Blue, Purple, Brown or Black). The Gi must be clean without visible tears and not obviously too short or too long. The top and pants must be of the same color and patches are allowed as long as the patches on the Gi do not prevent the opponent from gripping it
NoGi: Athletes have to wear board shorts without pockets or with pockets entirely stitched shut. Spats can be worn under the shorts if selected. Athletes also have to wear a rashguard or a shirt of elastic fabric (clings to body). This rash guard or shirt does not need to meet any color requirements.
Normal Registration: 250 DKK (Gi and NoGi: 350 DKK)
Late Registration 350 DKK (Gi and NoGi: 450 DKK)
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing athletes of each division will recieve medals.
