BERLIN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 I EUROPEAN CUP
About This Event
The Berlin Open Championship 2026 is a European Cup event featuring Gi and No-Gi competition under IBJJF rules without advantages. Competitors from ages 4 through Masters 2 (36+) can compete across nine belt levels in a Round Robin format.
Registration:
- Adults: €75 early bird (before May 10) or €90 late (before May 19)
- Kids: €60 early bird or €80 late
- Add €20 per absolute division entry
- Pre-registration only—no day-of sign-ups
Format highlights:
- Adult and Master competitors receive 4 matches in filled divisions (up to 5 athletes per bracket)
- Competitors entering both Gi and No-Gi can earn 8+ fights
- Team vs Team competition with cash prizes available
- Absolute Division winners receive a Championship Belt (minimum 14 registrations required)
- Legal submissions encouraged; traditional points structure without advantages
Schedule: Doors and weigh-ins open 8:00am, competition starts 9:00am. Maximum capacity: 1,000 registrations per day. Spectator entry is €10 at the event.
