About This Event
BJJ247 Newcastle Open 2026 welcomes Adults, Juniors, and Juveniles across all belt levels. Competitors can enter up to three divisions, with guaranteed minimum of two matches per registration (in divisions with 3+ competitors).
Registration pricing:
- Early: Adults £39 (1 div), £59 (2 div), £79 (3 div); Junior/Juvenile £29 + £20 per extra division
- Normal: Adults £49 (1 div), £74 (2 div); Junior/Juvenile £39 + £20 per extra division
- Late: Adults £59 (1 div), £84 (2 div); Junior/Juvenile £49 + £20 per extra division
Early registration offers 22% savings versus 2025 rates.
Event features:
- Single weigh-in covers all divisions entered
- Gi competitors no longer required to weigh in wearing their Gi
- Live Best Overall Academy standings with real-time team points and medal tracking
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals by division
Spectator access: £6 entry (wristband issued). Free passes for parents of competing children and under-18s. Spectators cannot access the fighting area.
Weigh-in at 09:15, competition starts 10:30.
