About This Event
Candidate of Cauliflower is a No-Gi tournament featuring a unique submission-only ruleset under Regelwerk rules. Double Elimination format ensures every competitor gets multiple matches.
Scoring system:
- Choke (kill) = 3 points
- Joint lock (break) = 2 points
- Coin flip = 1 point
If no submission occurs during regulation (7 minutes) or overtime (3 minutes), a coin flip decides the winner. The ruleset is beginner-friendly with restrictions on leg attacks, neck attacks, and dangerous techniques.
Eligibility: Only athletes below blue belt can compete.
Schedule: Doors 7:30am, weigh-in 8:00am, competition starts 9:00am.
