CASCAIS JIU JITSU CHALLENGE

The Cascais Jiu Jitsu Challenge runs Gi and No-Gi divisions under IBJJF rules, with competition starting at 09:00. All belt levels from white to black compete across weight categories and an open weight absolute division.

Registration & pricing:

• €65 for combined Gi + No-Gi entry

Prize structure (open weight):

• Black: €250
• Brown, Purple, Blue, White: €150 each
• Minimum 4 athletes per category required to award prizes
• Only one third-place medal per category

Important details:

• Maximum 2 athletes per team in each category
• Athletes must arrive 1 hour before their scheduled fights
• Kimonos and weight checked minutes before competition
• Photo ID mandatory
• Spectator access restricted to athletes, coaches, and authorized personnel only
• If an athlete has no opponents in their category, they may switch divisions, receive a medal, compete in absolute, or transfer registration to the next event
• Fight schedules subject to change based on tournament progression
