CASCAIS JIU JITSU CHALLENGE

The Cascais Jiu Jitsu Challenge runs Gi and No-Gi divisions across all belt levels from white to black, governed by IBJJF rules. Competition starts at 09:00.

Registration & pricing:

• €65 for combined Gi + No-Gi entry
• Maximum 2 athletes per team per category
• Photo ID mandatory

Prize structure (Open Weight): Black belt winners take €250; Brown, Purple, Blue, and White belt winners each earn €150. Minimum 4 competitors required per category to release prizes. Only one third-place medal awarded across all divisions.

Important notes:

• Athletes must arrive 1 hour before their scheduled fights
• Kimonos and weight checked minutes before competition
• Spectator access restricted to athletes, coaches, and authorized personnel only
• If a category has insufficient opponents, competitors may switch divisions, claim a medal, enter absolute, or defer registration to the next event
• Registration fees refunded with proof of injury
• Fight schedules subject to change
