COLCHESTER OPEN 3

Colchester Open 3 is a comprehensive Gi and No-Gi tournament under IBJJF rules, welcoming all belt levels from young children through Masters divisions.

Competition structure:

• Age groups: 4-6, 7-9, 10-15, 16-17, Adults (18+), and Masters 1-5
• Every competitor guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches
• Special No Gi Absolute Champions Division (submission-only, 5-minute rounds, open to all adults and masters; minimum 10 entries required)

Registration fees:

• Adults: £35 (early bird) or £45 (normal) for 1 division; £55/£60 for 2 divisions
• Kids & Juveniles: £25 (early bird) or £30 (normal) for 1 division; £40/£45 for 2 divisions
• Absolutes: £25 if entered in Gi or No-Gi
• Black belts: free entry

Prizes & incentives:

• Bespoke medals for top 3 in each category
• No Gi Absolute Champions: championship belt + £100 cash for winner; Raine No-Gi set for runner-up; Raine rash guard for third place

Venue & facilities: Charter Hall Sports Hall features changing rooms, showers, cafeteria, and ample parking. Professional photographer on-site, paramedics available, IBJJF-qualified referees, and real-time schedule updates via Smoothcomp.

Spectator entry: Adults £10 (day-of); children under 12 free; coaches with competing children and head coaches (with prior email confirmation) free.
