COPA IBÉRICA
About This Event
COPA IBÉRICA is a major Gi and No-Gi championship spanning ages 4 through Masters 6+, with divisions for white through black belts. Male and female competitors face off in weight categories and open weight absolute divisions.
Registration (three batches with increasing fees):
- Gi only: €40–€50 (under 15), €45–€65 (Juvenile-Master)
- No-Gi only: €40–€45 (under 15), €45–€60 (Juvenile-Master)
- Combo (Gi + No-Gi): €70–€85 (under 15), €80–€115 (Juvenile-Master)
- Absolute division: +€20
Early registration closes February 27; final deadline April 10–12 depending on format. Federated athletes receive discounts matching first batch rates.
Prizes & ranking points: Weight category winners earn medals. Absolute divisions offer cash prizes (€200–€400 for champions depending on belt level) plus medals for top 3. Team trophies awarded for 1st–3rd place overall. Champions earn 900 ranking points, runners-up 600, third place 300.
Special features:
- Kids festival with recreational activities and exhibition matches (ages 4–12, optional)
- Medical team with mobile ICU unit on-site
- General check period: April 10–15, 2026
