DGL DEUTSCHE MEISTERSCHAFT KIDS UND TEENS + QUEEN OF THE MAT

The DGL Deutsche Meisterschaft Kids und Teens + Queen of the Mat is Germany's national championship, restricted to athletes from German-based martial arts schools. Competition follows the DGL ruleset, which uses a position-based scoring system modeled on United World Wrestling structure.

Competition details:

• Belt levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Weigh-in: Saturday 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (three stations by level)
• Divisions may merge by age or weight if no opponent exists
• Single competitors receive gold medals without competing if present and weighed in by noon
• Girls and boys under 14 may be combined into shared divisions

Prizes & logistics:

• Medals and large certificates for all placed athletes
• Championship belt awarded to the Women's Advanced Absolute winner
• Schedule published Friday by 8:00 p.m., with real-time updates via Smoothcomp
• Two coaches per team receive free entry; additional spectators pay an entrance fee
