EMPIRE GRAPPLING: LANCASHIRE OPEN

Empire Grappling: Lancashire Open is a Gi and No-Gi tournament for Adults (18+) and Children, featuring straight knockout absolute divisions alongside standard brackets.

Registration & capacity:

• Early Bird closes 22 August 2026 | Normal closes 3 October | Late closes 12 November
• Capped at 250 competitors per period; may close early if venue capacity is reached
• Pre-registration only—no late or on-the-day sign-ups
• Discounts available: BJJ Brown/Black Belts and Pro MMA fighters (3+ professional fights) receive 50% off. Claim via info@empiregrapplingevents.com with Smoothcomp and Tapology profile links; must have previously supported Empire Grappling events.

Competition details:

• Single weigh-in at 8:00am covers all divisions (zero weight allowance)
• Minimum 2 matches guaranteed per athlete (Gi and No-Gi) unless injury or withdrawal prevents it
• ID checks mandatory by end of 2026; currently random spot checks
• Doors and spectator entry open 8:00am, matches begin 9:00am
• Medals awarded once each division completes; all medallists must be present
• Team trophies for Academy Champions, Affiliation Champions, and Kids divisions (both formats), plus #1 Athlete of the Event if there is a clear winner
