FINAL KUMITE 5

FINAL KUMITE 5 is a Masters+ tournament featuring Gi and No-Gi competition across white, blue, purple, and black belt divisions. The event runs bracket-style with 8-person and 4-person brackets.

This competition uses a unique hybrid format: the Gi/No-Gi ruleset is randomly selected immediately before each match, keeping competitors sharp across both disciplines.

Modified ruleset highlights:

• White belts can attempt wrist locks
• Significant submission attempts score 2 points
• Advantages and penalties each award 1 point
• Blue belt and above: all leg locks allowed in No-Gi; heel hooks prohibited in Gi
• Guard jumping and flying attacks prohibited at all levels
