About This Event
GP CIDADE DA MAIA BJJ CUP GI & NO-GI 2026 is a major tournament in Maia featuring both Gi and No-Gi divisions across 13 age categories—from Festival Kids (4-9 years) through Masters 4 (46+)—and all belt levels from white to black. Competition follows FIJJD rules.
Registration (tiered pricing):
- Early bird (until March 23): €35–€75 depending on division
- Normal (until April 20): €40–€80
- Late (until May 19): €45–€85
Festival Kids divisions are €15 across all periods.
Schedule: Weigh-ins Friday, May 22 (18:00–20:30) and Saturday, May 23 (08:15–09:30). Festival Kids start at 09:00; competition begins at 10:30 on May 23.
Awards & ranking: Trophies for top academies in five categories. Competitors earn ranking points: 80 for gold, 45 for silver, 20 for bronze, plus 4 points per victory. Limited to 700 participants.
Sports accident insurance is included. Spectators enter with 1kg of non-perishable food.
