GRAPPLE CITY
About This Event
GRAPPLE CITY is a No-Gi tournament exclusively for young grapplers aged 5–17. Competitors are divided by experience level: WHITE (0–1 years), GREY (1–2 years), and YELLOW & ABOVE (2–3+ years).
The event runs on a double elimination format with at least two guaranteed matches per competitor and a third-place bout. Match times are 3 minutes for ages up to 12, and 4 minutes for teens and juveniles (13–17).
Registration & Schedule:
- Entry fee: 50 GEL
- Weigh-ins: Saturday, May 9th (18:00–21:00) and Sunday, May 10th (08:00–09:00)
- Competition starts: 09:00 on Sunday, May 10th, 2026
- Athletes register at the age they turn in 2026
- Zero weight allowance applies
Important notes: Competitors must be in the warm-up area 15 minutes before their match. A 10-minute grace period precedes walkover losses. Sandbagging is enforced. Up to two coaches or guardians per academy enter free; other spectators pay 10 GEL.
