About This Event
GRAPPLECITY: GRONINGEN SPRING OPEN brings Gi and No-Gi grappling to the Netherlands with divisions for Kids, Teens, and Adults. Competition follows IBJJF rules with points awarded (no advantages).
Registration pricing (tiered by deadline):
- Early (until Mar 7): Kids/Teens €37–€54, Adults €45–€110
- Normal (until Apr 4): Kids/Teens €47–€64, Adults €55–€120
- Late (until Apr 15): Kids/Teens €57–€74, Adults €65–€130
- Absolute divisions: €40 standalone or €20 added to other entries
Brown and Black Belts receive 50% off. Pro MMA fighters qualify for the same discount—email GrappleCityorg@gmail.com before payment.
The event features professional-grade setup: 7x7 metre Zebra mats, warm-up area, crowd control barriers, and an on-site medical team. GrappleVision provides professional photography and videography. Doors open 8:30am, competition starts 9:30am.
The winning team takes home €500 and a unique Irish Hurley trophy. Spectator entry is €5 at registration.
