INTERNATIONAL VELUWE OPEN JIU JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2027 GI & NO-GI

The International Veluwe Open Jiu Jitsu Championship returns for its 9th edition with Gi competition on Saturday and No-Gi on Sunday, following IBJJF standards.

Competition structure:

• Kids (ages 4–15): Round-robin format, guaranteed minimum 2 fights
• Adults & Masters (16+): Format varies by division size—round-robin, elimination, double K.O. bracket, or single knock-out for Open Class
• White belts split into beginners (0–6 months) and advanced (6+ months)
• Masters divided into Masters 1 (30–40) and Masters 2 (40+)

Registration fees:

• Adults/Masters: €45 early (Feb–Aug 2026), €60 normal (Sep 2026–Jan 2027), €70 late (Feb–Mar 2027)
• Kids: €27.50 early, €30 normal, €40 late
• Black belts compete free
• Discounts available: €20 off for adults/masters entering both divisions, €15 for kids

Capacity: up to 1,000 adult/master competitors and 400 kids. All belt levels welcome from white through black. Coaches may enter the competition area with wristbands. Weigh-ins begin at 8:00 (must complete 1.5 hours before first match); competition starts at 9:00.
