KIMURA CUP ALICANTE 2026
About This Event
The Kimura Cup Alicante 2026 is a major 5-star ranking event under AJP rules, serving as the fifth stage of the Spanish National Ranking Copa Kimura. It welcomes competitors from Pre-Benjamín through Masters across all belt levels in both Gi and No-Gi divisions.
Registration fees:
- Early bird: €50 Gi / €85 Gi+NoGi (under 15: €45 / €75)
- Normal: €60 Gi / €100 Gi+NoGi (under 15: €55 / €90)
- Late: €70 Gi / €115 Gi+NoGi (under 15: €65 / €100)
Schedule: Weigh-ins on Friday, May 8 (17:30–20:30) and Saturday, May 9 (08:00–09:00). The event may expand to Sunday, May 10 if 600 athletes register.
Prizes & ranking points: Over €10,000 in total prizes including medals for champions, runners-up, and both third-place finishers. Team trophy awarded to the top 3 teams. Ranking points: 1st +100, 2nd +55, 3rd +30, plus +5 per victory and +2 per submission.
Athletes must present 20 minutes before their scheduled match and check smoothcomp.com regularly for potential time changes. Credential download required for all participants.
