KING OF YAWARE 2026

KING OF YAWARE 2026 is a Gi-only tournament exclusive to members of Yaware (Brakel, Avelgem, Geraardsbergen), with valid club membership required to compete. Starting at 13:00, the event runs across three age divisions: Junior Boys & Girls (6-12), Teen Boys/Girls (13-17), and Adults (18+).

Youth divisions are open to all belts, while adults compete at white belt only, with an open class for blue belts. Rules are adjusted by age group:

• Junior (6-12): No submissions, 3-minute matches
• Teens (13-17): No neck or foot locks, 4-minute matches
• Adults: Straight foot lock only, matches run 5 or 6 minutes

Adult matches follow IBJJF white and blue belt rules, and categories may be adjusted depending on registration numbers.
