MADEIRA OPEN CHAMPIONCHIP

The Madeira Open Championship spans two days of elite grappling: Gi on August 22, No-Gi and Superfights on August 23. Both disciplines follow IBJJF rules with single-elimination or round-robin formats depending on entry numbers.

Registration pricing:

• Early bird (until June 12): Adults & Juveniles €40, Kids €35
• Standard (June 13–August 12): Adults & Juveniles €45, Kids €40
• Late (August 13–19): Adults & Juveniles €55, Kids €50
• Black belts compete free

What to expect:

• Competition starts 9:00 (doors 8:30), weigh-ins in gi shortly before matches
• Medals and custom trophies for top finishers
• Professional photographer captures the entire event; all competitors receive free access to photos
• Personal introductions for key matches
• Spectator entry €7 (children under 12 free); one complimentary parent pass for kids' competitors (under 14)

Register for both disciplines and save €10. Maximum 2 coaches per club (contact organizers to arrange).
