NEAR EAST SPORTS TOWER JIU-JITSU COMPETITION

The Near East Jiu-Jitsu Gi & No-Gi Competition is set for February 1st at Near East University in Lefkoşa, Cyprus. This event aims to create a competitive and fair atmosphere for participants of all ages and skill levels.

What's on offer:

• Divisions for both males and females, including categories for Kids, Youth, and Adults
• Separate competitions for Gi and No-Gi formats, with divisions organized by age and weight
• Match durations of 5 minutes for adults and 3 minutes for younger competitors
• All matches will follow the IBJJF ruleset, focusing on points and submissions without advantages
• Required attire includes a clean Gi for the Gi division and a compliant rashguard and shorts for No-Gi

Schedule:

• Weigh-ins: 08:00 - 10:00
• Gi matches: 10:00 - 13:00
• No-Gi matches: 13:00 - 17:00
