NEWCASTLE BJJ OPEN - NOGI AND GI SUMMER 2026

The Newcastle BJJ Open brings Gi and No-Gi competition to the summer with divisions for Juveniles, Adults, and Masters (30+) across white through brown belts. Matches follow IBJJF rules.

Competition format:

• Round robin in categories with 3–5 participants, guaranteeing minimum two fights for all competitors
• Juvenile and Masters divisions use 5-minute rounds
• Bespoke medals for top 3 in each division

Practical details:

• Doors open 8am, weigh-ins from 9am
• Real-time schedule updates on screen and via SmoothComp
• Qualified referees and first-aider on site
• Free spectator entry

Early bird pricing:

• Juveniles: £20 (single format), £30 (both formats)
• Adults & Females: £30 (single format), £45 (both formats)
