NEWCOMER BATTLE TRIALS 2026

NEWCOMER BATTLE TRIALS 2026 is an open Gi and No-Gi competition welcoming athletes from all federations across seven age divisions: U7, U10, U13, U16, U18, and Adults.

Registration fees:

• Single format (Gi or No-Gi): €25–€55 depending on age
• Both formats: €40–€85
• Early bird discount (€5–€10) until 31 January
• Late registration surcharge (€5–€10) from 8–9 March
• BJJBD members receive an additional €5–€10 discount

Schedule:

• Doors open 9:00
• Children weigh-in at 9:00, competition starts approximately 10:00
• Adults weigh-in at 11:00, competition starts approximately 11:30

Important notes: Children may be shifted to different weight classes if needed. Adults exceeding the 100g weight tolerance are disqualified from that class. Athletes with black belt ranking in other martial arts or professional MMA experience must compete as blue belt minimum.
