NORTHERN GI + NOGI BJJ IBJJF & SUBMISSION ONLY RULESET OPEN 11 IN SHEFFIELD

Northern Open 11 in Sheffield brings together Gi and No-Gi competition under both IBJJF and Submission Only rulesets. The tournament welcomes competitors aged 4 and up across all belt levels, with separate adult categories for each format.

Competition structure:

• Kids (4-15), Juveniles (16-17), and Adults (16+)
• Experience levels: Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced, Expert
• Single elimination, round robin, and best-of-three formats
• Minimum two matches guaranteed for small brackets

Registration: Early bird pricing starts at £30 (juniors/juveniles, 1 division) and £35 (adults, 1 division). Add a second division for just £5 extra. Standard and late rates available at higher tiers.

Venue highlights: High-spec facility with free parking, restaurant open from 8am, and professional-grade Judo mats across 6m×6m and 8m×8m areas. TV scoreboards on IBJJF mats, two weighing scales, and updated referee guidelines.

Schedule: Doors 8:00, weigh-in from 8:00, rules meeting 9:15–9:30, competition starts 9:30.

Spectators: £5 entry (cash or contactless); under 5s free. Parents accompanying children pay the spectator fee. Upstairs seating gallery overlooks all mats with capacity for 250.
