OLYMPIX GERMAN GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP

The OLYMPIX German Grappling Championship features Beginner and Intermediate divisions under a custom ruleset designed for dynamic competition.

Match format: 5-minute rounds with golden point (sudden victory) applied even during group phases. Victory comes by submission or a 10-point margin.

Scoring system:

• Takedown: 1 pt
• Takedown with control, Sidemount, North-South: 2 pts each
• Full mount: 3 pts
• Back mount: 4 pts

Positions must be held for 3 seconds to count, and points are awarded only from the best position achieved—no points for transitions.

Restricted techniques for both divisions include finger locks, heel hooks, toe holds, can openers, wrist locks, finger hooking, twisters, neck cranks, and slams above hip height.
