OPEN BALMASEDA | OSO DURO

OPEN BALMASEDA | OSO DURO is a Gi and No-Gi tournament under IBJJF rules spanning Kids, Juvenil, Adult, and Master divisions across all belt levels.

Registration fees:

• Kids: €40–€50 depending on timing
• Juvenil/Adult/Master: €50–€70 (plus €10 for absolute division)
• Discount of €20 available for combined Gi + No-Gi entry

Schedule:

• Weigh-in: March 1st at 8:20 (early weigh-in available March 13 at 18:00 in Zamudio)
• Competition starts at 9:00

Prize structure varies by belt and format: White belts receive a kimono (Gi) or rashguard (No-Gi). Cash prizes range from €100–€250 for higher belts depending on division and format. A team trophy worth €500 goes to the squad with the most accumulated points.

Special features include ambulance and medical personnel on-site, unified Master divisions (2/3 and 4/5/6), and a ranking system with semiannual and annual standings. Athletes with confirmed registration earn a gold medal and ranking points even without competing. Minimum four competitions required to claim a championship title.
